Meet a variety of turtles and tortoises during QWR’s Annual World Turtle Day Celebration. Participants will learn all about these fascinating animals before taking a hike on the Refuge trails to search for native pond turtles and the Eastern Box Turtle, which is now a Species of Special Concern. Sign up for one of the two time slots. Dress for the weather. A program for all ages. Reservations required. $3.00 suggested donation.

Earth Yoga with Amy Hess – Wednesdays in May, 9AM

…Down to Earth…Back to the Earth…Connect with the Earth and connect with yourself — mind, body and spirit — during a one-hour yoga class in the Main Room of the Nature Center. This is a Gentle Yoga Program for all fitness levels, and will be taught by Amy Hess, a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Students must bring their own mats. 4-week program is $32.00 per person; Walk-in fee is $12.00. Payment and pre-registration recommended.
