Kayaking Quantuck Creek – 2 hours
(depending on wind/current/weather and age of students)
Experience Quantuck Creek and Quantuck Bay via kayak and learn about our local waterways, the creatures that live in them, and human impacts on the bays. This program is available to 5th grader and above, and is weather dependent and available during mid-May through mid-October for schools, and year round for private programs.
$35.00 per person, $350.00 minimum. Spaces available for 18 people including chaperones.
Kayak on Old Ice Pond:
2 hour program. This program includes a guided 2 hour exploratory paddle on 10 acre Old Ice Pond, paddling instruction, and use of life vests, as well as time for short hike. We can accommodate 15 children maximum, 18 people maximum. At least 3 adults chaperones necessary, two to be paddling on pond with QWR staff. Snack or lunch provided by the group can be enjoyed at the outdoor amphitheater or picnic tables. Age appropriate for children 10 years old to adult. $25 per person, $300 minimum
