This winter birding walk around the ponds and grounds of the Quogue Wildlife Refuge will meet first in the Nature Center to scan the waters with a spotting scope to find wintering waterfowl. The walk will then proceed north along the trails to find woodland birds, such as golden crowned kinglets, various woodpeckers, maybe cedar waxwings or perhaps a brown creeper! We will also view the Fairy Dell area. This hike will be led by avid birder, naturalist, and Park Ranger from William Floyd Estate Fire Island National Seashore, MaryLaura Lamont. A free program for adults & families.
