What happens to our plants and animals in winter, and how can you identify trees and shrubs without their leaves? How do plants protect themselves from the cold and snow? During this nature walk we will observe and talk about the various plants, animals and birds found along the Refuges creeks, pond and woods. This walk will be led by MaryLaura Lamont, Park Ranger, of William Floyd Estate Fire Island National Seashore. A free program for adults and families.
