When other species go into hibernation during the cold winter months, it’s the waterfowl that entertain outdoor enthusiasts across the country. Come learn about the variety of species that frequent Long Island’s wintering habits in the Nature Center with a power-point presentation. Afterwards, we’ll provide a spotting scope or bring your own binoculars to look out on Old Ice Pond for black ducks, hooded mergansers, and other winter waterfowl. A program for families and adults. $5.00 per adult.
