The Quogue Wildlife Refuge is looking for friendly and interested individuals to fill a variety of volunteer positions. Let us know if these interest you:
Trail Maintenance – Assist with trail-trimming and help maintain part of the seven miles of trails at the refuge.
Volunteer Educator – Lead school groups for tours of the Refuge. Lead scout groups for badge work.
Nature Center Attendant – Spend weekend day meeting and greeting visitors inside of the Nature Center. Answer questions about the animals, inform visitors of upcoming programs, membership and Adopt an Animal opportunities. Answer phones as needed. Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-4pm.
