Visit all of your favorite Refuge places, explore by kayak, and enjoy off-site field trips.  Program Hours are: Monday 9A.M. – 12:00 P.M(Refuge Onsite), Tuesday 9:00 A.M – 2:30/3:00 P.M (Sunken Forest, Fire Island), Wednesday 9:30 A.M – 2:30 P.M.(Offsite Kayaking Adventure), Thursday 9:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M. (Mud Trail), return Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M for a night walk in search of owls, bats and adventure!  The night hike will be followed by an awesome campout here at the Refuge and pick up time is 9:00 A.M on Friday morning.

Parents must transport their campers to and from offsite trips on Tuesday (Sunken Forest Ferry Terminal) & Wednesday (Kayaking Launch Spot – Riverhead). Detailed information will be provided.

Members $435 | Non-members $470

Grade level is the grade that your child will be entering in September of 2023.

Refund Policy: Refunds will be granted if cancellations are received 2 weeks prior to the start date of the session (minus a $50 cancellation fee). There will be NO refund if cancellation occurs within two weeks of the first day of the session. Changes/ switching camp weeks are subject to an additional $50 processing fee if there is availability for a switch.

  • Please note that you need a current Family level membership (or higher level membership) to receive the discounted registration for Summer Camp. Family Memberships are only valid for the immediate family (i.e Parents and Children)

      We are required by the NYS Health Department to have an up-to-date copy of your child’s vaccinations on file. We do not accept registrations without this form. Usually called a “School/Camp Form” from pediatrician. Please upload a PDF or JPEG of the file here. If the file is too large, please try shrinking it or taking a clear photo of it, then upload. We only need your child’s general vaccination record, NOT the Covid immunization card.

    Visit

    The Refuge trails and Outdoor Wildlife Complex are open every day from sunrise to sunset free of charge.  Dogs and bicycles are not permitted on the Refuge grounds.
