QWR was founded in 1934, and is fast approaching its 80th year of existence. We are in the planning stages of a celebration to mark the milestone year, which will honor the Refuge’s history, and are seeking your assistance. We invite folks to submit photos, stories and memories of their experiences at the Refuge, both new and old. Information can be sent digitally or in ‘old-fashioned’ style of penmanship! As part of the celebration, we plan to create a story board and a scrapbook full of people’s memories, which will be on display at the event.
