The Refuge trails are open 365 days a year, from sunrise to sunset. You can enjoy walking seven miles of trails to explore diverse habitats including forests and ponds, as well as the ecologically rare Dwarf Pines in the Pine Barrens.
The Outdoor Restrooms and Outdoor Wildlife Complex are open from sunrise to sunset.
As we prepare for upcoming renovations, the Charles Banks Belt Nature Center will not have regular posted hours. The office, nature center restrooms, gift shop and indoor animals may be available for visitation so please come in if the doors are open. Call the office 631-653-4771 for updated availability.
Note: Dogs and bicycles are not permitted.
Please note: due to infestation of Southern Pine Beetle, portions of the trail are closed for tree cutting. Please stay on open trails.
