Mothing: A Nocturnal Adventure!

Discover the secret nightlife of the Refuge! Join us in the Nature Center as we whip up a special batch of all-natural moth bait. Then we’ll head outside to spread it in prime moth-spotting locations. While the bait works its magic, we’ll return to the Nature Center for a PowerPoint presentation with Jared Dyer, Cornell Cooperative’s Entomology Specialist, to learn about some of the hundreds of native moth species. Finally, we’ll venture back out to identify the species that show up for the feast! $10 per person. A program for adults and families.

Refund Policy: Program tickets are non-refundable unless we, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, cancel the program due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you decide to cancel, your class fee will be donated to support our mission driven work at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
