Introduction to Birding for Kids

Winter is a great time to start birding! Join QWR Educators to learn the basics of bird identification and using binoculars in this outdoor program. Bring your own binoculars, or borrow a pair from QWR (limited supplies available). Participants will go home with supplies to make their very own pine cone bird feeder to attract backyard bird species. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For children 8 years old to 12 years old. $10 per child.

Refund Policy: Program tickets are non-refundable unless we, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, cancel the program due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you decide to cancel, your class fee will be donated to support our mission driven work at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
