Guided Hike to the Dwarf Pines

Join a QWR Educator for a guided hike to the ecologically rare dwarf pines ecosystem, which is found in only three locations worldwide. Learn about native flora, fauna, fire ecology and more on this 3-mile hike that is on relatively flat terrain. Please apply any insect repellent prior to arrival, wear sun protection and consider bringing a water bottle. A program geared towards adults and kids over 10 years old. $10.00 per person, $5 for QWR 2026 members. Space is limited.
Refund Policy: Program tickets are non-refundable unless we, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, cancel the program due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you decide to cancel, your class fee will be donated to support our mission driven work at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
