Long Island Shark Research Update
June 25 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Did you know that there are over 20 species of sharks commonly found off Long Island? The SOFO Shark Research and Education Program’s mission is to enhance stewardship of Long Island’s shark community through scientific research, data sharing with marine resource managers, and educating the public about their important ecological roles. Join Captain Matt of the South Fork Natural History Museum’s Shark Research and Education Team in the Nature Center for a slideshow update on last year’s research season. $5 per person, proceeds benefit SOFO and QWR.
Refund Policy: Program tickets are non-refundable unless we, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, cancel the program due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If you decide to cancel, your class fee will be donated to support our mission driven work at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
