18th Annual Wild Night for Wildlife

Dear Friends,

Please save the date for an unforgettable evening at Quogue Wildlife Refuge’s 18th Annual Wild Night for Wildlife on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

Held under the stars on the beautiful grounds of the Refuge, this summer tradition brings together friends, community leaders, and conservation supporters for a festive evening dedicated to protecting wildlife and preserving this cherished 92 year old nature sanctuary.

This is an exciting year at the Refuge as we begin the long-awaited renovation and expansion of the Charles Banks Belt Nature Center. This project represents an investment in the future, however Wild Night for Wildlife remains essential in sustaining the Refuge today. Proceeds from the evening support the care of resident wildlife, stewardship of 305-acres of preserved habitats and nature trails, and year-round environmental education programs serving thousands of community members.

Guests will enjoy substantial hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, local wines, craft beer, live music, and exciting live and silent auctions, along with the opportunity to meet some of the Refuge’s resident animals up close. A private VIP reception at 6 PM will be held for those contributing $750 or more per person.  This celebration will feature a Dark Skies theme, honoring the beauty of our night skies and the importance of reducing light pollution for the natural world.

To be recognized in the Benefit Invitation, please confirm your sponsorship by May 9, 2026. Sponsorships begin at $350 and include recognition at the gala and on our event website. General admission tickets will be available after May 9th. A private VIP reception will be held at 6PM for those contributing $750 or more per person.

Please mark your calendar for this wild and wonderful summer tradition. For more information, please call (631) 653-4771 or email Development@QuogueWildlifeRefuge.org. We look forward to celebrating with you under the stars this July.

With gratitude,

Michael J. Nelson
